Name Capture |
The SMS “Name Capture” app will allow you to capture and save First and Last names of your subscribers through the text messages they send to your short code. It is a great tool to build your subscribers database and leverage text message campaign participants names for future SMS marketing and notifications campaigns.
How to setup Name Capture for First and Last names
Your action:
Prompt your clients to text-in your SMS keyword plus their First and Last name, all separated by space. FIRST and LAST name must follow the SMS keyword.
Subscriber’s action:
Subscribers would send back a text message reply with the SMS or MMS Keyword, followed by their First and Last name.
There must be a space between the all 3 words.
Example of text message:
JOIN George Smith
Mobile SMS Keyword: JOIN
First Name: George
Last Name: Smith
