Check connection. Once ownership, routing, and HTTPS are verified, select the domain when creating a short URL.
DNS propagation and certificate setup take time. A pending domain is not ready for new links yet.
Keep a brand for your store, another for events, and the original ProTexting domain whenever you need it.
Make default sets your starting choice for new links. You can still choose a different verified domain for each link. Existing URLs keep the domain they were created with.

No. Adding a domain or changing your default does not rewrite existing links. The original ProTexting domain remains an explicit choice for new links.
Yes. Connect multiple domains and select a ready, owned domain for each new short URL. A saved default is a starting choice, not a restriction.
No. Use a dedicated subdomain for short links. Add only the DNS records shown in the setup screen; leave your main website records unchanged.
No. Turning off a domain’s new-link availability removes it from new-link choices; it does not disable existing links. Keep its DNS connection and domain registration active so those links continue to work.
